Supporting the well being of adolescents and young adults
Adolescence is a time where young people undergo significant physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development at a rapid rate, which influences their emotions, thoughts, decision-making processes, and interactions with their environment.
Common challenges in this time include interpersonal conflicts (especially dating relationships), dealing with social pressures, exploring personal identity, working through changing family dynamics, managing grief and loss (although often not recognised as that).

Its important to recognise that these challenges are normal and can lead to feelings of:
-
depression
-
anxiety
-
low self-esteem
-
frustration(aggression)
-
isolation
-
helplessness
-
...or just not quite feeling yourself
All of these situations to manage can feel overwhealming without the right support.
